What HobbyGM is

Connect an eBay card store and HobbyGM reads each listing overnight. By morning you have a list of the titles buyers can't find, the item specifics left blank, the prices out of line with other sellers, and the cards nobody is watching. HobbyGM started as the tool the seller behind rorzcards built to manage their own eBay store, and its checks were tuned against that store's listings before anyone else could sign up.

The free tools, guides and grading cost pages are open to anyone. HobbyGM isn't endorsed by eBay.

Who writes the guides

Rory Hansen runs HobbyGM and writes, edits and reviews its guides.

Editorial standards

Every guide is researched, written, edited and approved by a person before it is published.

The numbers the guides and tools quote (eBay fees, Standard Envelope rates and limits, and grading prices and turnaround times) are kept in one place, so a change is made once and every page picks it up. Each one is checked against the source's own page on the date shown, and each page shows the date its facts were checked. The current sources:

Market figures, such as how many graded cards each grader has on eBay, come from HobbyGM's own daily count of new eBay listings. The grading market share tracker and the state of eBay card listings report explain how they are counted.

How HobbyGM makes money
