How to see sold items on eBay
Sold listings show what buyers actually paid, which is the only price that matters when you're pricing a card. Here's how to find them, and what they leave out.
On a computer
- Search for the item, as specifically as you can (for a card: year, set, player, number, parallel, grade).
- In the filters down the left side, find "Show only" and tick Sold items.
- Sort by "Ending recent first" to see the latest prices at the top.
In the eBay app
- Search for the item.
- Tap Filter, then turn on Sold items.
- Apply, and sort by most recent.
Reading sold prices for cards
- Match the exact card. A base card, its Silver parallel and a /25 parallel are three different prices. So are a PSA 9 and a PSA 10, or English and Japanese Pokémon cards.
- Green prices sold; crossed-out prices sold by Best Offer for an amount eBay doesn't show, usually below the asking price.
- Look at several sales, not the highest one. The middle of the last five to ten sales is a fair price.
- Watch for lots and "pick your card" listings, whose price covers something other than one card.
For longer history
If you sell on eBay, Seller Hub's Research tab (Terapeak) shows sold data going back much further than the 90-day filter, at no extra cost.

- How far back do eBay sold listings go?
- The sold filter shows roughly the last 90 days. Sellers can see longer history in Seller Hub's Research tab (Terapeak).
- Why is a sold price crossed out?
- The item sold through Best Offer. The crossed-out price is the asking price; eBay doesn't show the accepted offer.
- What's the difference between completed and sold listings?
- Completed listings include items that ended without selling. Sold listings are only the ones that sold; use sold for pricing.
