HobbyGM vs CardDealerPro
CardDealerPro gets cards listed, and HobbyGM works on them once they're live. Scan and list with CardDealerPro, then use HobbyGM to catch what bulk listing gets wrong, check prices against the same card listed by other sellers, and send offers to watchers.

CardDealerPro is software that identifies cards from scanner or phone images, builds an inventory, and lists the cards on eBay and other marketplaces. It suits sellers listing hundreds or thousands of raw cards a month, especially with a sheet-fed scanner.
HobbyGM is a web app for eBay card stores. It connects to your store through eBay's official API, checks every listing each night, fixes titles and item specifics in bulk, and sends offers to watchers.

Where CardDealerPro is better
- Getting cards listed in the first place: it identifies cards from scans, so a run of one set goes from scanner to eBay in seconds per card.
- Selling beyond eBay: it lists to Shopify, Whatnot and CollX as well.
- Inventory that isn't on eBay yet, including slabs you've just had back from grading.
Where HobbyGM is better
- Fixing listings already live on eBay, including ones you made by hand or with another tool years ago.
- Catching what bulk identification gets wrong: titles and item specifics that contradict each other, and missing item specifics buyers filter on.
- Prices against other sellers' current listings of the same card, and offers to watchers, by hand or on nightly rules.
- Margin on each listing after fees and shipping, and how much eBay traffic each one gets.

What HobbyGM does
- Checks every listing in your store each night: titles, item specifics, and cards with no watchers three weeks after listing. (how the checks work)
- Fills missing item specifics from the title and adds missing search terms (parallel, print run, grade, team) to titles, in bulk, with review before anything is pushed to eBay.
- Flags listings whose title and item specifics disagree: card number, season, print run, autograph, rookie, grade.
- Compares each card's price with other sellers' current listings of the same card, matched on number, parallel, grade and print run.
- Sends offers to watchers in bulk, or automatically each night by your rules, never below break-even.
- Shows each listing's net margin after eBay fees, shipping and supplies, and flags cards that lose money or would ship cheaper by Standard Envelope. (fee calculator)
- Reads per-listing traffic from eBay, so you can see which cards get seen and not clicked.
- Covers sports cards, Pokémon, Magic, Yu-Gi-Oh!, One Piece, Lorcana and non-sport cards.
HobbyGM doesn't scan or identify cards, create new listings, list on other marketplaces, or look up sold prices for your cards. It works on the eBay listings you already have, however you made them.
