HobbyGM vs SellerAider

SellerAider and HobbyGM both send offers and edit listings in bulk, but SellerAider is a general reseller tool across marketplaces and HobbyGM is built around eBay trading cards. Card sellers who only sell on eBay get more from HobbyGM; crosslisters need SellerAider or another crosslister.

Where SellerAider is better

  • Crosslisting to 15+ marketplaces.
  • Sending offers, relisting and refreshing listings across its supported marketplaces, on Grow Pro.

Where HobbyGM is better

  • Understanding cards: it reads year, set, number, parallel and grade from the title and fills eBay's card item specifics.
  • Flagging titles that contradict their item specifics, and prices out of line with other sellers' listings of the same card.
  • Offers to watchers with a floor at your break-even after eBay fees and shipping. On SellerAider, sending offers takes a Grow plan, from $18 a month.

What SellerAider does

  • Crosslists to 15+ marketplaces from a Chrome extension, with AI listing generation and inventory. (source)
  • Grow plans send offers, relist, refresh and bulk edit listings. (source)

What HobbyGM does

  • Checks every listing in your store each night: titles, item specifics, and cards with no watchers three weeks after listing. (how the checks work)
  • Fills missing item specifics from the title and adds missing search terms (parallel, print run, grade, team) to titles, in bulk, with review before anything is pushed to eBay.
  • Flags listings whose title and item specifics disagree: card number, season, print run, autograph, rookie, grade.
  • Compares each card's price with other sellers' current listings of the same card, matched on number, parallel, grade and print run.
  • Sends offers to watchers in bulk, or automatically each night by your rules, never below break-even.
  • Shows each listing's net margin after eBay fees, shipping and supplies, and flags cards that lose money or would ship cheaper by Standard Envelope. (fee calculator)
  • Reads per-listing traffic from eBay, so you can see which cards get seen and not clicked.
  • Covers sports cards, Pokémon, Magic, Yu-Gi-Oh!, One Piece, Lorcana and non-sport cards.

HobbyGM doesn't scan or identify cards, create new listings, list on other marketplaces, or look up sold prices for your cards. It works on the eBay listings you already have, however you made them.
