Choose PSA when
- The card's value depends on a gem grade. A PSA 10 usually sells for more than a CGC 10 of the same card.
- You're selling sports cards, where PSA is on most graded listings and CGC on only a few percent.
- You want the widest pool of buyers and the easiest resale.
Choose CGC when
- You're grading many mid-value cards, where $15 Bulk against $59.99 is the whole margin.
- It's Pokémon or another card game, where CGC is the clear number two and widely accepted.
- You want the grade for protection or a personal collection more than for resale.
