How many CGC slabs reach eBay
On September 29, 2026, CGC was on 2% of graded sports cards newly listed on eBay and 14% of graded card-game cards (Pokémon, Magic and the rest), from HobbyGM's daily market snapshot. A grader's share of the market is a rough guide to how easily its slabs resell.
Who CGC suits
CGC is the budget choice for volume, especially for Pokémon and other card games, where it's the clear number two behind PSA. Bulk at $15 (25 cards minimum, up to $500 each) makes grading a stack of mid-value cards affordable. For sports cards its resale premium is smaller than PSA's, so the savings matter more on cards where the grade adds less.
